Floor Drainage Frequently Asked Questions
You can use any sealant, as long as it is not acetoxy. Ask your merchant for advice, if you are unsure.
Good news: the gullies are really versatile in outlet size. As standard, the gully comes with a 50mm outlet, which can be reduced to 40mm with the included adaptor. The vertical option can also be cut allowing it to fit straight on a 110mm soil stack.
You have the choice of two different ranges with the Multikwik Trapped Shower Gullies.
One is suitable for vinyl sheeting floors up to 3mm thickness, most commonly found in care homes, hospitals, gyms or hotels.
The other option is for tiled floors, and with an adjustable riser is fits most tile thicknesses.
As with all Multikwik products, we make sure our products are manufactured in accordance to the relevant standards. Multikwik Trapped Shower Gullies comply to EN274 and to parts of EN1253.
To install the gully, you will need standard flooring tools, including:
- Marker pen
- Non-acetoxy sealant
- Solvent weld
- Hole saw
- Flooring material and accessories
- Spirit level
- Utility knife
- Screw drivers
