Following the enormous success of the recently launched push fit Easy Boss for connecting 1¼ and 1½ inch push fit waste water pipes to standard soil stacks, the Easy Boss can now accept 32mm and 40mm solvent weld pipes due to a design change and an adaptor which is supplied as standard.
Facilitating easy installation, Easy Boss requires no straps avoiding the need for all-round access to the soil pipe. It can simply be fitted into a 57mm hole and is ready to receive a 1¼ or 1½ inch push fit pipe. For 40mm solvent weld requirements the seal is simply removed and the pipe glued in place, and for 32mm versions an adaptor is supplied as standard.
Easy Boss is available in grey and black and has been tested to withstand a 5m head of water.

Multikwik have launched a new range of white injection and compression moulded toilet seats that use a new KwikNut system of fixing designed to make installation easy and fast. This is achieved by a special open-sided locking nut made of hard plastic that is simply clicked into position on the stainless steel hinge and tightened in just 3½ turns.
Ideal for time-saving on major installations, the KwikNut system allows for multi-directional adjustment of the seats, which are suitable for WC bowl widths 145 to 165 mm. The seats have four point support and feature a bevelled back style and the top of the range is made from a special anti-bacterial material.

Multikwik’s Triaqua concealed WC system has helped a purpose-built, state-of-the-art nursery not only to meet the highest standards of hygienic facilities but also to achieve the required BREEAM rating to qualify for government funding.
The Tik-Tok nursery in Gateshead, founded in 1991 as a non-profit making children’s daycare nursery, has recently moved into a new purpose-built Community Nursery opposite Gateshead International Stadium. Designed by Napper Architects, the nursery features a series of playrooms equipped to cater for specific age groups ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years. Each playroom is monitored by CCTV, has its own secure garden area and its own male and female toilets.
The Triaqua system enabled quick and easy installation with the integrated frame installed as first fix, then pans installed after all other trades had finished. This avoided the delays caused by other trades carrying out intermediate work, and obviated damage to chinaware. Wall hung WC pans also assisted the flooring contractors who laid floor finishes to uninterrupted areas and made day-to-day cleaning quicker and cheaper.
The system uses flush valves which provide faster more forceful flushing requiring less water – 6 litres as opposed to the 10 litres required with conventional siphons. This helped the building achieve the required BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) rating of good or above. BREEAM is regarded by the UK construction and property sectors as the measure of best practice in environmental design and management. It includes assessment of water consumption and water efficiency.

Multikwik's expertise in the manufacture of innovative plumbing solutions has been fully exploited in the development of a new concealed cistern, the TRC 1825, which is compact, supplied with factory fitted components and can accept side, back or bottom fill water pipes.
Specially designed to suit modern bathroom furniture, which is becoming increasingly more compact, the TRC 1825 is only 382mm wide. It is believed to be the smallest installed six litre cistern on the market, fitting into cabinets that are only 450mm wide.
Also as part of Multikwik's fresh approach to cistern design, all components of the TRC 1825 are factory fitted to significantly reduce installation time. All that is required on site is to fix the cistern to the unit or wall, attach the flush pipe and push in a 15mm supply pipe. Thereafter, when the fill and flush valves need replacing, they can be easily accessed from the front or top of the cistern.
In addition, such is the unique shape of the cistern that the water supply can be from the back or side, as well as the bottom, of the unit. Flush buttons can also be flush mounted in a convenient position.
Finally, for added convenience and quick reference prior to installation, the instructions are printed on the outside of the box.
